📅 Day 1 – Arrival in Tokyo
Arrive in Tokyo, check into your hotel, and spend your first evening wandering the soft-pink canopy of cherry blossoms in Ueno Park or along the Sumida River promenade illuminated by city lights.
Explore Tokyo’s blend of tradition and modernity: visit Senso‑ji Temple in Asakusa, the serene Meiji Shrine, iconic Shibuya Crossing, and spend time amid the cherry-blossom trees of Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.
Venture out of Tokyo to the Mt. Fuji region: scenic views at Lake Kawaguchi framed by blossoms, and optional stops at the Chūreito Pagoda viewpoint and traditional villages near Fuji.
Take a day trip to the World Heritage site of Nikko — visit the ornate Toshogu Shrine, stroll among cedar-lined paths dusted with spring petals, and take in nature at Kegon Falls or Lake Chuzenji.
Board the bullet train to Kyoto, Japan’s ancient capital. Visit the iconic Fushimi Inari Shrine’s red torii gates and enjoy a twilight stroll through Gion, where geisha culture meets blooming cherry trees.
Spend your day among Kyoto’s most timeless sites: Kinkaku‑ji (Golden Pavilion), Kiyomizu‑dera Temple, and the picturesque Philosopher’s Path, lined with sakura and softly flowing streams.
Visit nearby Nara: feed the friendly deer in Nara Park under blossoming trees and explore the massive wooden Todai‑ji Temple, home to the Great Buddha.
Transfer to Osaka, Japan’s vibrant culinary and nightlife mecca. Visit Osaka Castle amid cherry-lined moats, then dive into the lively streets of Dōtonbori and Shinsaibashi for food, shopping, and lights.
Enjoy a free day in Osaka or choose optional excursions — for example, visit Himeji Castle, explore Kobe, or stroll through Minoh National Park where waterfalls meet blossoming trails.
Relax and savour your final full day: last-minute shopping, café stops, or a farewell dinner. Perhaps revisit cherry-blossom zones in Osaka or return to Tokyo (if departure requires) for a farewell view.
Check out and transfer to the airport (or bullet-train station) for your onward journey, carrying vivid memories of Japan’s spring bloom, cultural depth, and travel comfort.
